Nhat Tan Bridge with a total length of more than 9000 m was the largest steel cable-stayed bridge in Vietnam before the birth of Tan Vu Bridge, an important traffic connection point in the arterial route connecting the capital area with Noi Bai airport. The bridge has a starting point in Tay Ho district, crosses Hong River and ends in Dong Anh district. The bridge started construction in 2009 and went into operation in early 2015.

8 - Long Bien Bridge - top must-visit bridges in Vietnam

This is the first steel bridge in Vietnam and also the oldest bridge in Hanoi capital. The bridge was built by the French in 1899 and completed in 1902. Although it was restored and repaired, the bridge still retains its ancient look, and is a testament to the heroic historical pages of the nation. Today, while walking on the bridge, visitors can also feel the ancient look by the architecture from the French colonial period and the peaceful view of the Hanoi Red River.

9 - Rach Mieu Bridge

Rach Mieu Vietnam Bridge is a bridge built by Vietnam, crossing over the Tien River, connecting the two provinces of Ben Tre and Tien Giang. The bridge has a total length of more than 8000m, and is the third largest bridge in the Mekong Delta. This is the first cable-stayed bridge in Vietnam built by Vietnamese engineers from 2002 to 2009.

Bai Chay Bridge is located on Highway 18, is one of the important trade roads in Quang Ninh province. Bai Chay Bridge is the longest single-plane cable-stayed with a total length of nearly 2500m, spanning the Cua Luc River. The bridge was designed by a team of Japanese architects, started in 2003, and has been in operation since 2006.

Phu My Bridge connecting District 2 and District 7, across the Saigon River is the largest cable-stayed bridge in Ho Chi Minh City with a total length of more than 2000m. The bridge was started and constructed in 2005 and completed in September 2009. This is a modern cable-stayed bridge, a new symbol of magnificent Saigon connecting Thu Thiem new urban area and Phu My Hung urban area, this is also a key bridge connecting with the Mekong Delta region.

Thi Nai Bridge is the longest cross-sea bridge in Vietnam’s southern region, which started to be built in 2002 and put into operation in 2006. connecting Quy Nhon city and Phuong Mai peninsula. Han River Bridge, also known as Song Han Bridge, is one of the oldest bridges in Danang. The bridge over the Han River has the beginning at Le Duan Street and ends on Pham Van Dong Street. Vietnamese engineers started building the bridge in 1998 and completed it in 2000. The rotating bridge has the function of serving waterway traffic, to pave the way for large boats to pass through. The most special thing that Han River Bridge offers is that visitors can witness this special scene on Saturday & Sunday, from 23:00 - 24:00. On weekdays, the bridge usually turns from 1 am to 2 am.

15 - Thuan Phuoc Bridge - the longest suspension Vietnam bridge

Thuan Phuoc Bridge is located near the end of Han River, connecting two coastal roads Nguyen Tat Thanh and Truong Sa - Hoang Sa. The bridge started construction in 2003 and opened to traffic in 2009. The bridge has a total length of 1856m, and is the longest bridge in Danang.
