Otherwise, Indian citizens can also register online and apply for Visa on Arrival if they travel by airplane. With this type of visa, Indian citizens just need to fill in all basic information into the digital application form and pay the service fee. Within 2 to 7 days or less, Indian citizens will receive the dispatch allowing their entry accompanied with an immigration report via the signed-in email. The last thing to do is to have it stamped as soon as you arrive at a Vietnam airport.

With a tourist visa at the Vietnam embassy in India, the fee is relatively cheap, $21 if Indian citizens enter once a month, $26 if the number of entries is more; if Indian citizens apply for a 3 months visa, the price is $34 if you enter once, $55 if more. In case Indian citizens ask for an urgent visa, there will be extra charges such as $10 per person for receiving dispatch in 1 working day, $25 per person for receiving dispatch in 4 working hours, and $50 for receiving dispatch in 2 hours. The fare can be changed depending on the time you apply for the visa.
