About 170 from Ho Chi Minh City, Tram Chim Dong Thap was established in 1998, located in Tam Nong district, Dong Thap province. Covering an area of more than 7,500ha, this tourist area stretches from Tram Chim town to 6 communes of Tan Cong Sinh, Phu Duc, Phu Tho, Phu Thanh A, Phu Thanh B and Phu Hiep. On May 22, 2012, this national park was recognized as the 2000th Ramsar site in the world, and also the 4th Ramsar site in Vietnam.

Tram Chim National Park entrance fee is 20,000 VND / person ($0.87), excluding costs such as transportation, meals,… The tickets are sold at the counter right at the entrance. 1 - Means of transportation at Tram Chim Dong Thap

This national park is divided into 5 different management zones (A1 - A5), each is surrounded by a system of canals and dikes with a total length of up to 59km. In order to sightsee this place, you will have to use means such as trams, canoes and “tac rang” - a type of small motorboat typical of the land of rivers. The cost of renting each vehicle and for each route is different, you will be advised on your touring plans before buying tickets.
